Ok, so I haven’t been keeping up to date on my blogs. It’s so tough now a days with facebook, myspace, band websites and so much more. But eventually I come around.

So there’s been a lot going on this summer. I just finished producing the new record “Gotta Find a Way” by Jamirae. She’s a Country artist from Missouri. Had a great time recording the album and I’m really looking forward to seeing how far she’s going to go with it. I’m already checking out tunes for her next album!

Also, plans are set for my gig in Belgium at the end of the month. I’m really looking forward to that. This show will help open doors for more tours in Europe and beyond! I’ll definitely post news and pics of that adventure for sure.

And what’s on the horizon? I’ve already started writing / pre-production and recording tracks for the upcoming Carolyn-Fe album. This one is going to be a doozy! Just the pre-prod stuff sounds really good. What’s great about this time around is that it is more of a band effort unlike the last album. So I’m psyched about that. We’ve been playing a lot of shows this year and we’ve created such a great vibe on stage that we are capturing in the studio. When all is said and done, I think we’ll come out with a very good product that we’re all going to be proud of.

Had a great show last night at Club Lambi with Carolyn-Fe. It was a benefit to raise money for the Haiti relief effort. It was great to see so much support for this cause. The night was just fantastic with artists like Steve Rowe and James Green lending their talents for the night. The lovely and talented Darragh Hemmings from Mohawk-Radio.com did a great job as MC for the night. And for the people who stayed all the way to the end we were blessed with an impromptu performance with Jimmy James and Graham Chambers. It was a night to remember and I was thankful to be a part of it.

Hey everyone, I finally got around to updating my site and changing some things up. All the blogs below were copied/paste from my old website, so the dates will be all wrong.

Anyhow, this site will be a lot easier for me to handle and update, so come back often!!!!

So a new year is about to start. There is a lot on the horizon that is very exciting. A few albums will be completed and a few new ones will be started. The Pink Floyd Story just signed with Gillette Entertainment Group. A lot is still in the works. Currently booking new recording projects as well. Looking forward to 2010.

ust wrapping up some final projects before I leave. I’m just finishing up the mixing for the first 5 songs that I’m recording for Carolyn-Fe’s album. Songs are sounding great. We were able to get some talented players for the tunes. One song I’m excited about has an incredible trumpet player on it. I’m very happy I was able to capture the incredible tone this man has. And it’s an honor to have a piece of history working with us.

I just completed music for a song I’m producing for a great singer from the U.S. She has a great voice and I’m very excited to be working with her. We’ll be completing the vocals when I get back from Morocco. Check out her page at :  www.myspace.com/itsjamiraemusic

And finally, the play ‘Almost Blue’. I’ll be finishing the sound effects for the play this week along with the web site. I’m sad that I won’t be able to see the play in action. So I urge all of you to go for me! Many times!!

So it’s confirmed. I’m going back to Morocco. This time it’s in Agadir. I’m extremely pumped about this. Need to get away and it’s the perfect time. I’m leaving in the beginning of October and coming back mid December. I’ll be bringing my portable studio with me to continue working and writing, along with any website work that may come my way. Isn’t the internet awesome!!

There’s so much going on right now. When it rains it pours!! I’m currently working on an audio book of the Bible. Needless to say … it’s a long and full time project!! The Daniel Iorio Group CD ‘Hike’ is done. I can’t wait for all your lovely little ears to hear it!! You can get a taste of it at :www.danielioriogroup.com . Along with 2 other producing jobs, I also have the sound design contract for the upcoming play ‘Almost Blue’ produced by Altera Vitae, a few wedding gigs, demos for 2 other bands and rehearsals with the Morocco band. Whew. But I’m loving it!!

I’ve just signed on as sound designer for another play production by Altera Vitae. The play is “Almost Blue” by Keith Reddin and is booked for a two week run at Mainline Theatre November 3 to November 16, 2008.

I’m doing a few demos for bands right now, but there are a few other projects I’m signing on to produce that I’m very excited about. There’s some great talent out there and I’m blessed to have them come my way! I’ll be posting more info and samples when things get rolling.

The fall will be a big one for me as well. I will start teaching at Musicircle and there’s talk of going back to Morocco for a 2 month tour. Stay tuned for more news!!

Well, I just finished a demo for Carolyn-Fe Trinidad. It was an 8 song demo done for shopping purposes but now it looks like it’ll turn into a full album production. The demo itself was recorded by myself and Chaz Butcher. The same team which recorded the whole Invisible Man CD.

Chaz played all bass, guitar and piano for the majority of the songs and I played drums, except for the songs “Made a Woman Out of Me” and “Stack O Lee” in which I played all the instruments. Beseme Mucho was played by keyboardest extrodinaire, Naveen Uttamchandani. It was a fun experience and I’m looking forward to producing the rest of the songs. www.myspace.com/carolynfe

I’m currently rapping up production of Daniel Iorio’s upcoming CD entitled “Hike”. Things have really been moving in the past few weeks and I’m getting real excited to have this project finished and released to the world. I feel big things are going to happen with this.
